A cozy pub with tasty carvery
The atmosphere of the pub is charming and inviting, with friendly staff who genuinely. The Sunday carvery was delicious and reasonably priced, offering generous portions.
Our room felt slightly scruffy, with the bedding needing an update and odd creaky noises making sleep challenging.

The Sunday carvery offered generous portions and high-quality food that delighted our entire group.
While the overall cleanliness was satisfactory, the bedding seemed a bit cheap and could use an upgrade.

Absolutely dreadful experience, staying here was definitly a mistake. Steep stairs just to reach my room? Really? A warm bath wouldve been nice, but apparently, radiators aren't their thing either. I almost thought to leave a great review, but just couldn't-they should have comp'd me some free dinner in return for all this inconvenience instead.

The Sunday Carvery was a delight at £7.95, and the kids had a blast with the extra veggies. My sister and I appreciated the cozy atmosphere while the whole family cleared their plates.
For dads, it would be great to have more kids' activities.

We recently stayed at The Welsh Black Inn for a short holiday with our pet dog. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. They even went out of their way to cater to our daughter's picky eating habits. The location was perfect for our needs, and any request we had was promptly taken care of. The restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety to choose from. We especially enjoyed the sunny beer garden and the beautiful setting in the Welsh countryside.
100% Recommend this hotel.
